Work in mother’s company

Even though the Economic Crisis effect lots of company, but my mother’s company still very busy, so I can have a chance to do volunteer over there.
I just do some thing very easy, like: clear up some document, check the financial and do some computer work. When I clear up the document, I made lots of mistakes, the documents should clean up by time, but I did that by the number’s big or small. So I have to clean up that again. I was so stupid that time. I spent lots of time on that thing. My mother told me, there are lots of things over there I need to do, if I can not do them on time, she will not give me the testimonial. So I have to do that very careful and fast. At last I finished my first work. Then the second mission is coming. They need me check the financial. That was a big work, this is not allowed any mistake, I was afraid to do that work, but mother said, she believe me, and there was no body have time to do that work, and I must accept it, I have no choice. So I just do it. After I finished that work I found I can not look things very clearly. The number in the account book was quiet small, my eyes was began to blur. That evening when I close my eyes, there are all the numbers in my mind. I do not want to see the numbers any more.
The next day, when I arrived, my mother is going to have a meeting. I have nothing to do, so I just play the computer by myself. When mother finish her meeting, she begin to give me the mission. She gives me some forms to type. It is very easy for me, but there are lots of forms should type. I sat in front of the computer from morning to afternoon. After I finished all the work I found I was so happy. Mother said I am a useful girl, I am smart. I also feel mom was very tired to work. Sometimes I can not be considerate of her that was my mistake.
I hope I can help mom a lot in the future. Maybe that was impossible but that was my goal. From this I found I should learn lots of things. I should improve my speed of typing, I should know how to clear up the documents, how to check the finical and so on.
Finally I want say I do not want to grow up, I am afraid of become a adult. It is too tried to do those work all the day, it is horrible to face the same work again and again, and that will be very bring. Volunteer work can really help many people. I hope I can help some more people I don’t know very much next time. That may let me feel more happy.

Fashion Show

It is the Fashion show ticket.

On April 27th, 2009, GCA organized a fashion show. It was very different, because all the clothes wore are decided by ourselves. Can you imagine how amazing it was? On 27th April, I went to the sky well at 18:00; I go with a girl called Winona. When we attended the show already start. I choose to watch the show because I want know if we have strength to do that work. The result is we can do it; we can do it very well. I saw lots of amazing artwork, our clothes also on the stage. The teachers ware the clothes we made are very beautiful. The first part is a dancing show, which was really excited, the dancers dance quiet cool. I can not believe girls can also show that kind of dance. The second part of the PARTY UNIFORM, students wore the sunny clothes looked very energy, and young. When the first person comes out, we all begin to scream. I can not believe the impact can be so good. Then is the school uniform. Those were more beautiful than the uniform we wore now. I really hope we can have a uniform decided by ourselves. Finally is party clothes, there are some grand 12 students came to show their clothes, they are so beautiful, I can not leave my eyes away from them. That was enjoy time. From this fashion show, I found, if we want to do, we can do every thing by ourselves even we did not tough that before.

How to make Muffin?

Our teacher Ms Bartell wanted to teach us how to cook. My teacher is a French girl called Melissa. She teaches us how to make Muffin.
We need 300 gram flower, 6 bananas, 4 eggs, 100 gram brown sugar, and 160 gram butter, don not forget we also need chocolates about 50 pieces of chocolate.
First, one person put 160 gram butter and brown sugar in a hollowware, then use a muddler beat up them together, then put 4 eggs in them also need beat up. At the same, the other person should make the 6 bananas mashed in a dish; you had better use a fork, when the banana like the water then put the banana into the hollowware with the flower. Do not put all the flower and bananas into the hollowware one time. When the person put bananas and flower into the hollowware, the other person should beat up them very uniformity. When the things mixed in the hollowware very well, we can spread a little butter in tin cans.
Then we scoop up little mixed things into the tin can, after that put 4~5 chocolate into it then covered chocolate with the mixed thing.
Finally put them into the oven bake 15~20 minutes , but before that the oven should warm-up 200℃.

Snow white

On the 31st December, 2008, GCA prepared a show to celebrate the New Year’s Day. Our class 10-C prepared a drama, called “Snow White”. At first the Students’ union wants each class give a show, and then they choose some of them performed at the Festival Party. One of the Students’ unions told us we must play the drama. At last, we were chosen to play at the Festival Party. I wanted to be the hunter, but they said that role should played by a boy, then they found they still need pygmies, so at last I decided to play the pygmy.
Those days we always practice after school, even those that was not my first time to play in the stage, but I was still very nervous. Maybe that was my first time to play with my new classmates. The time we practiced was very interesting; we always can found lots of funny style to change the drama. Our perforce became better and better. On that day, the leader borrowed the costumes. All of the performers have their own props. My is a chapeau, and my role a pygmy, but in fact the seven pygmies were all very tall. The impact was quite good, because other performance is all about the dancing or singing, so our act was very interesting, lots of people love this.
In this case I know a good performance is very difficult to prepare, there lots of people in this show, so it was difficult to organized them together. Also should tell everyone how to play. All of those showed group work is very important.

Anclent Chinese Lacquer Exhibition

That was a rainy day afternoon; we three went to an exhibition. Lily suggested is to go to the Chinese museum. But we did not know when does closed, so we went their at about 3:00P.M, so it was a little bit late. But we still learned a lot.
China is the first country that used lacquering technology. As early as in the New Stone Age about seven thousand years ago, wood products coated with lacquer and pottery decorated with lacquer appeared. In Shang an Zhou Dynasties, lacquer products were made with fairly advanced technology and became the luxuries of noble families.
The golden age for lacquer technology was in Han and Wei Dynasties when it was provided with good opportunity for development because bronze technology was in decline; besides, the enlarged government-run lacquer ware workshop also laid a good foundation for the prosperity of lacquer technology. Lacquer products at this time had unique, shining and attractive designs, rich and magnificently decorated, with a wide application.
I saw a chair which sat only by the king. That was really beautiful, I just can say Chinese people was so strong, their hands can do such wonderful artworks. The small bowls with very exquisite, the pictures on the chair are very careful, the lines are very smooth. You can not image how beautiful it is. The Aeron chair was very sobriety and generous that can show an emperor’s stateliness.
I was so proud of I am a Chinese when I saw the foreign’s face showed “amazing”. Yes, Chinese culture was so wide.

Indian restaurant

I went to an Indian restaurant with my friends Winona and Maria on a Sunday evening. At first, we decided to eat Japanese restaurant, but when we arrived there, we found that restaurant was closed, we felt so sad, because we all loved sushi, then we walk around the restaurant, we found an Indian restaurant. We thought that Ms. Mitschrich was been to Indian we wanted know something about Indian, so we enter the restaurant. That was a little bit terrible; the price of that restaurant was too expensive, we three wanted to go out off that place, but that was very impolite so we have that dinner.

Formerly curry was come from Indian. The handing cake was really interesting. Curry was very delicious, and the Indian cook was really handsome. I took a photo with him; the feeling of that restaurant was very wonderful, it is very suitable for dating. The music was very special. I found that the food is too less, the price is too expensive. Other things were very wonderful.

The Indian restaurant is use forks and knifes but usually they use their hands to eat food. Common Indian people usually use their right hand put the vegetables into the cake or use their hands to put the rice and vegetables together, and then put them in the mouth together. The people like us to eat food are the intellectuals or middle-class home. Indian’s sweet food are very famous, their food are too sweet. Their supper also very late, they usually have supper at about 8:00 P.M, then two hours later they will go to sleep.

Personal health

These are this May Day Holiday

I did not went to the gymnasium to do some exercise, because gymnasium is a air proof place, so may be the air in there is not very fresh. May be it is not very good for people to stay in there for a long time. Before I exercise myself I slept for 12 hours everyday. Even that I still feel very tried, maybe I slept too much.
When my mother said:” you should not sleep so much, it is not good for you health. You should do some exercise……” I found I have to change my life style, I should do some thing to change my lazy. So I got up at 6 o’clock and then go running with my mother. Then in the afternoon I played badminton with my sister for about 2 hours a day. From this activity a found I am not stupid, I just lazy, if there is a place can let me sit for a very long time, then I don not want to move any more. So I decided to get up early and go out for a walk if I do not have things to do.
Do some exercise always good for you health, if you can persevere in doing exercise that can improve your body language. If you say:” I do not have time to do some exercise.” That was not a reason, that shows you are a lazy person just like me. I think if you want to do some exercise, you can do that any time, any where, any thing can help you exercise yourself. Not only morning exercise is good for people, if you do some exercise, not very strong exercise, that will be good for your body language.
Let me show you the day I did exercises: in the morning I go running with my mother, then have breakfast with her. The other time I read some books and play the computer games. In the afternoon I played badminton with my older sister for about 2 hours. In the evening I did 20 sit-ups a day. This kind of life continued for about one week. That week I had the most energy.
There I suggest if you want to live longer you had better do more exercises and continues exercises so that your life must be more exciting. Do not try to find reason to let you be lazy. Do more exercise can help you feel more energy. It is not very health to sit in the fount of the computer for a day. That you can jump up and down for several times ,before you go to bed. Of course you had better drink a cup of milk ,because it will good for your health ,also it can help you fell in sleep much better.
So from this activity I found that if you want to be health you had better get up early in the morning and do some exercise. Not every sports is good ,you should not do some strong exercise very suddenly ,that is not good for you heart.

Volunteer

This term GCA had a very important thing Drama club organized a play “The taming of the shew”. The play was a big success. Why do I say things about that? The reason is :I helped them to make the stage properties.
This term,,I helped Ms. Mitschrich painted the wall which they need use in the play. From this process I learned a lot which I can not learned from classes. Everyone in a group must help each other. In a group everyone has their own duty,ever group members must try them best to do the work. If anyone made a mistake this assignment will not be perfect. So in group work,everyone must do well in his job. You must know lots of things and you have the confidence to do the things well. I found I do not have lots of experience to do well in everything. So I must learn more things.
From this process I found that every members in a group must have the speciality,so that he or she can does well in his or her part,then organize each part the process must become perfect. After this process I found if you want to do the process successfully that every member in your group must do everything in his power. Of couse a wonderful leader is also a important part in group work. A leader must distribution the work very suitablely. The leader must know the group members very well. So that he or she can distribution the work and make the work perfect. The other important thing in group work is every group members must united they must have the same goal,and work together. They have to complementaty,every person have advantages and blemishs so in a team we must help each other. Group members must help and defer the leader. If everyone do the things by his own idea the process must ended in failure. So a dedinitude goal is really important.
In this process you just should know how to paint the colours and be carefully with your colour,because there are four kinds of colours. Our goal is to make the walls looked a little bit ancient and the wall is organized by a lot of fragment of bricks. You have to be very careful otherwise,this process must end up in failure. That must affect the theatrics. Teamwork is very useful in our life. You should jion the teamwork because you should know how to do things with others and you should know how to do one thing with others. Cooperation will be enhanced the sense of collective. Cooperation will make you pay more attantion on others. This is a competitive very intense’s world,however teamwork still very important. For myself teamwork let me learn how to get along with friends. Also how to chat with teacher,I found teamwork is very useful. Teamwork is not very perfect,if anyone who is very lazy teamwork can give him or her a chance to do nothing and can do get the score.

Club

This term I joined three or more clubs like: paino ,volunteer, fun and so on. Paino club impressed me very much. From this club I found if you want to do well in one thing you interested in,you must practice a lot,so that you will be a success.
The proprieter of the paino club is wonderful,he can play any songs,if he has the music book. In my eyes,he is a qenius! I heard some information about the proprieter that:he pass step ten in three years. He practice the paino more than 5 hours a day,so he can play the paino such well is not very amazing. From him I learned, if I want to play the Gu Zhen well,I must practise it a lot. Also I should be modest so that I can absorb others experience,and let me improve a little. In a club the leader is a very important role. The leader must notice every club members on time,also he should teach the club members and correct the club members’ mistakes,if you had no idea about the paino,the leader must have enough patient to teacher you step by step.
From this club I found I just know a little about the things I interested in. I should practice a lot and learn more information about Gu Zheng. I also found if you want to be a leader or if you want to organized a club,you must have a very wonderful organized ability,otherwise you will fail.
Club activities are good,because,those activities can let you make some friends that have the same interest with you. In that way,you will have more chance to chat with your friends about the things you all interested in. If you want to organized a club, you must have a speciality and have a great organizing ability. Also enough patient is very important.
In this club I learned a part of a song from my friend,I found I like listening the songs played by paino. Play the paino is a technique,you need to practice a lot. In GCA you must have a speciality otherwise you will have no confidence to continue the life in GCA.
I joined to play badminton for several times. That club is a sports club,each week it have activities for two times,every time for 2 to 4 hours. It always have competitions so it is a very popular club in GCA. Everyday we should have 1 to 2 hours to do some exercise,so if you join that club,you must have time to exercise yourself, that was good,but sometimes the practice was too heavy,that made my arms feel very ache. Also I found I could not play that use so much energy,that may heart myself.
Club activities are very interesting, and if you choose the club you interested in you will feel very happy, you can got lots of fun,and got lots of friends. You may learn a lot from other people who have the same interest. So you should choose the club by what you interested in.

Exhibition

We went to an exhibition with MS. Hadley’s class. We saw the exhibition called “Wu Weishan’s Sculpture Exhibition”. It is an exhibition about sculpture,the artworks made by one article Wu Weishan. This artworks are contemporary. If you have time you really need to go and enjoy it. It is so wonderful! My favourite artwork is “Sleeping Child”. It is an artwork that made Wu Weishan become famous. This artwork is made of clay,it is 11cm×7cm×81cm big. The artwork is not very realistic. Some people said they don not like this artwork. They said that just like a dead child. The child in this artwork is a little bit fat,but he sleeps very quiet and peaceful. That makes me feel very happy. It is made of bronze,but it looks very smooth, it is not very hard,the line of the child’s face is very soft. The surface is very rough,but the line is still very clear. You still can found the baby sleep deeply. That is the best part of this artwork.
The artwork “Sleeping Child” is very beautiful. This artwork wants to tell us that when the child sleeps deeply. In their dream is a very wonderful world. There is no war,no money,no compare everything is very beautiful. This artwork males me think about childhood. A very harmonious world,this art wort remind me of my girlhood,when I was a child,I always playing with other friends ,eating food and sleeping with my mother warmly. I have nothing to worried about. I don not need to think about the study, I do not need to think about how to organized my life,so that it can become more meaningful. Some people think this artwork is a little bit strange,because it is not sculpted very realistically. And the child is not very lovely. It is very common. I think, the artistic wanted to intention tell us do not destroy the children’s world. May be that is a purity place, so everyone wants to go back to the child is very common.
The “Sleeping Child” is a great artwork,I like it very much. Even though it is not very realistic,we can know it is a child ,who sleeps sweetly. This child’s expression is very comfortable,very contented. It can make me calm down. I can not speak loudly before this artwork. I am afraid of making up the child and I hope this child can live in the world like his dream forever. From this artwork I know the in the child’s eyes ,the world is a very beautiful world.
At the end of this essay, I want to say this exhibition was very amazing I love it so much. From this experience,I know everything from our life can become artwork. You can see art everywhere. If you put most attention on the things you interested in, so that you will be a big success.
